Manual test tool designed to measure the ability of a card to resist de-lamination and cracking
when subjected to an impact directed at a corner. To do this, the card is secured in the weighted
fixture and released from a height of 305mm (12inches). Impact weight is calibrated to create an impact force of 13.3 ± 0.5N (3.0 ± 0.1 lbf).
Made of aircraft grade 6061 aluminum/steel alloy bar stock and electrostatically coated for a durable long-lasting finish. Fitting and test weight are made of stainless steel.
How to use:
1. Hold a card as showed in tester picture. Rise a card on required height and loose the trigger, card corner will impact on tester bottom.
2. Check card status.
Calibration
In case of calibration is needed. This tester is only need to check weight. Use scale to check the weight to see if it is 13.3 ± 0.5N (3.0 ± 0.1 lbf).
